I'm Ary Aranguiz.
If there’s anyone who understands reskilling, upskilling, and navigating change, it’s me! From high school English teacher to corporate instructional designer and L&D leader, I’ve charted my own path—thanks to YouTube, Coursera, books, research, and my knack for turning knowledge into action. With over 20 years of experience in Learning and Development, a passion for lifelong learning, and a DIY approach, I’ve designed my own journey every step of the way.

I am a former National Board Certified high school English Teacher (NBCT). I am also a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), and hold a Master’s in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh. In addition, I am a proud member of the American Business Women’s Group and actively contribute to discussions on AI strategies and education.
My goal is to offer more than just education—I aim to provide you with continuing education (CE) credits in the near future, along with practical AI skills, and a learning experience that’s engaging, hands-on, and truly transformative. A bit about me personally:
Born in Manhattan and raised in Miami, I eventually returned to my roots in New York, where I’ve lived for the past 14 years. My first name is Ary, rhymes with Larry, and my last name, pronounced Ah-ran-geese, reflects my Basque heritage. My passion for teaching and learning is rooted in a family tradition of educators. My mother, aunts and cousins were teachers too!
I’m also the proud parent of two beautiful daughters—one an entrepreneur and the other an environmentalist—and I’ve been happily married to my best friend for decades. Our 5-year-old Labradane, Scooby, keeps us on our toes! 🦮
